Ultimate Card Revival Service

Our most comprehensive card cleaning and restoration tier. Designed for collectors preparing valuable or sentimental cards for display, storage or a grading submission.

Ultimate Card Revival combines detailed surface cleaning, microscopic inspection, Holofoil Radiance Restoration, dent and crease reduction, humidification and controlled flat-press techniques. We inspect your card in person and select the treatments appropriate to its condition.

This is our highest level of treatment for cards with several concerns, including surface contamination, holofoil deterioration, dents, creases or bends. Your service also includes a Restoration Report and high-resolution before-and-after scans, documenting our findings, the work completed and any remaining concerns.

What this service includes

• Detailed surface cleaning under up to 30x magnification, with attention to dirt, residue and areas requiring closer work.
• Digital microscope inspection at up to 1000x zoom for close examination of surface and structural concerns.
• Holofoil Radiance Restoration where suitable for the card’s surface and condition.
• Dent & Crease Reduction where appropriate.
• Humidification and controlled flat-press treatment when required.
• A Restoration Report recording condition findings, completed treatment and remaining issues or limitations.
• High-resolution 4K front and rear scans before and after treatment.
• Protective return packaging, including a fresh penny sleeve, semi-rigid holder, sealed team bag and reusable box.

One quantity covers one card. Ultimate already includes the relevant Precision-level cleaning, Holofoil Radiance and Dent & Crease Reduction work for that card. You do not need to purchase those treatments or the Restoration Report + scans add-on separately for the same card.

Your included Restoration Report

Your report explains what we observed during physical inspection, which treatments we carried out and what concerns remain. Front and rear condition maps include labelled points of interest where relevant, helping you match individual findings to areas of your card.

Once your report is shared, sign in to your Dugz Cards account using the email address associated with your order. Open Restoration Reports, find your order and select View report. Your card’s section will carry a Restoration label.

• Collectors considering a grading submission who want appropriate preparation and a realistic understanding of remaining condition issues.

Sending graded cards?

Your order must include one Graded Slab Cracking Service for each graded card you send. Slab removal is a separate service and is not included with Ultimate.

For slabbed cards, the before-treatment scans are taken after slab removal. Cards cannot be scanned through their graded cases using our equipment.

Important considerations

All cleaning and restoration work carries inherent risk, particularly on older, brittle or heavily damaged cards. We handle each card carefully and choose treatments according to its condition and suitability.

• Results vary by card. Not every treatment is appropriate for every card, and some damage may remain unchanged.
• Deep punctures, engraved dents, heavy creases and scratch-style impressions may see only limited or partial improvement.
• Whitening caused by missing ink cannot be restored through cleaning or restoration.
• No particular grade, grade increase or restoration outcome can be guaranteed. The final grading decision rests with the grading company.
• Your Restoration Report documents our observations and completed work; it is not a grading certificate.
